Last weekend, the Church of Soft Power premiered our first virtual drag show called, Drag-In Frequency 🐉 to celebrate and reflect on our experiences from the last year of the Dragon. Known for it’s boldness, creativity, and fiery nature, the Dragon is also associated with chaos and conflict, which was definitely my personal experience of 2024. So, as I started to reflect on the lessons I learned in the year of the Dragon, my prayer for this next year is:
May I continue to shed the programming in my mind-body-spirit that tells me to give beyond my capacity, so that I can trust my soul’s unique frequency 🙏🏽

Drag-in Frequency is the foundation for our first thematic season of 2025: Altar Egos.
An Altar Ego is “a character, identity, or aspect of Self who wants to be loved and liberated through creative expression and soft power.”
Inspired by the history of drag as a soulful form of resistance to systems of oppression and the drag[on]cestors who came before us, we will be journeying for the next few months to nourish and care for parts of our selves that want to be heard, witnessed, and expressed through the healing arts of qi gong, singing, meditation & trance, writing, drag and more!
