Divination has been an incredibly powerful spiritual tool in my life. Maintaining a consistent divination practice provides me with an intentional space to slow down, reflect, and integrate the myriad of experiences that come my way each day. Through my Art Alchemy framework, divination becomes a creative opportunity to deeply listen and bring forward what’s ready to surface.
Tonight, I will be facilitating an Art Alchemy Activation, a session I hold twice a month designed to create a sacred pause. In this space, we listen to our bodies, our intuition, and the unseen & seen spirits that are here to guide us on our earthside.
I have recently been called to dive deeper into the I Ching, also known as the Book of Changes — an ancient Chinese divination text and the oldest of the Chinese classics. Tonight’s session will be informed by my ongoing study of Hexagram 2. It’s been a beautiful guidepost while navigating these past few weeks of this watery Pisces / winter season.
Hexagram 2: Kūn. Supportive Power
To receive, be receptive. Embrace the power of yielding, and you shall receive. Clear a pathway, and what you seek come to you. Supportive power is the blessing of finishing to completion. In the depths of darkness, attainment awaits. Be yielding, and the powers that be will yield to you. A heart receptive to faith will never fear darkness or uncertainty. You are blessed with knowledge and intuition, twin pillars formed from the image of divine yin, and you are vessel for healing and receiving sustenance.
