On the Altar of Summer Lovin'

When
invited me (Luna Sea) to cohost Summer Lovin’, I immediately saw all the ways my own life has been shaped by the curses of codependent and heteronormative attachment disguised as love.Since this theme entered my field in early May, I’ve been connecting a lot with the younger parts of me that got married at 26, rushed into motherhood, and woke up to myself trapped in a sticky web of gender roles and expectations that I didn’t consciously consent to.
I am still untangling from the lasting impacts of the choices I made when I didn’t trust myself to question the world I was brought up in. The Soft Power community has witnessed me grow through this personal curse breaking — my journey to resourcing myself as a self employed single mom. In fact, my son & I are finally about to have our own home for the first time at the end of this month. So this spell is right on time.
Its my honor to hold down the frequency as Tim Mick Raw’s co-host tonight, and I wanted to share some of what’s going on my altar. Encouraging our audience to reflect on how the themes of this show may live in you, set up your own altar with your specific intentions, and/or grab some supplies to create as you take in tonight’s ceremony cast by drag show.

🌹Rose — for protection of your right to live and thrive; for protection of oppressed people worldwide; for amplification of your psychic senses so that you can spiritually protect yourself and your loved ones
🌶️Pepper — to banish all spirits of colonial capitalism, patriarchy, and white supremacy; to break all subconscious and ancestral agreements with these systems; to rekindle your fire to pursue relationships beyond heteroromantic and/or sexual standards; to cleanse our livestream of judgmental energy and hateration in the dancery.
👛Coins + Currency — to participate in the circulation of resources through the spirit and material realms; for the frequencies of abundance and physical safety over all people, especially our performers tonight
