Announcing Church Kid Drop Outs
Join us on March 29th for our next virtual drag show on Soft Power TV!
We have a stacked cast with 7 folks debuting their drag artistry! đŸŒŸ
The theme of our show, Church Kid Drop Outs, is a middle finger to the institution(s) that carry out the bidding of colonialism, patriarchy, & white supremacy. We can’t wait to see all of the creative interpretations of this theme by our performers.
In an effort to continue protecting our community against Covid-19 and other air-born illnesses, as well as expanding access for queer events to our rural and global siblings, this is a virtually streamed show on Soft Power TV (our YouTube channel).
It’s gonna be a party and it’s free to attend!
The vision for our Altar Ego Drag Shows includes creating a playful avenue for mutual aid and resourcing. We encourage folks to bring your digital dollars to tip the performers and buy raffle tickets as this show is a community effort to platform and amplify queer and trans expression, joy, and visibility.
I desire for drag to be available to everyone. It’s a powerful art form & it’s history is as rich as the stories of every king, queen, thing, in-between that’s dawned it’s gay apparel
- Tim Mick Raw (producer and co-host)
